My client, an award winning bespoke electrical global manufacturing company, are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Cwmbran, South Wales.
The Manufacturing Engineer role, Cwmbran, will be a key member of the Manufacturing Team. This candidate will be responsible for continuous improvement to ensure a safe and positive work environment, streamline processes, reduce waste, enhance quality and productivity. This candidate will also analyse performance and liaise with quality to investigate trends, also carrying out process control and variation reduction within processes. They will be working with the NPI team to drive the transfer of new products and processes. The Manufacturing Engineer, Cwmbran, will be applying lean manufacturing techniques as a means to eliminate waste and deliver products to customers expectations.
The Manufacturing Engineer role, Cwmbran, will have an in-depth knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma as well as experience of using ERP systems. They will also have experience in a contract manufacturer or end user manufacturing facility. Also, a knowledge of manufacturing concepts would be required.
