Client-side Maintenance Surveyor
The Oyster Partnership is pleased to be working with a well-regarded and long-standing charity who are on the lookout for a Client-side Maintenance Surveyor for their Middlesex Patch.
The Role
This will be a client facing role providing a Repairs & Maintenance service to an occupied mixed portfolio of houses, Churches, social centres and charity shops. The role involves working on own initiative, carrying out site surveys, specifying, tendering and supervising works on site. The role carries a heavy emphasis on client relationships and coordination of property related activities. Good Communication skills are essential. You will be responsible for the following:
The ideal candidate will have:
* A proven record of maintenance inspections, defect diagnosis and repair management to occupied buildings, especially residential
* Experience of delivering Cyclical Planned Maintenance multi-property Programmes
* Experience in inspection, specification, tender and supervision of building works
* Contract administration experience
* Equality Act Access Audit experience
* Working Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015
* A relevant property related degree / HND
* Full Driving licence is essential
* Excellent communication skills & able to work under own initiative
* MRICS/MCIOB Highly desirable - not essential
This is a full time (35 hours per week), a permanent position paying up to GBP40,000. The role will be home based with a geographic patch, reporting into a service Centre based in on the South London / Kent border.
