WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR
Our global manufacturing client are recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee a small team in a "hands on role" at their Grimsby site.
The working week is 40 hours Monday to Friday with daytime shifts between the hours of 7am and 6pm. There is also the opportunity to earn overtime.
The company offer an excellent benefits package including 33 days holiday including bank holidays, discounted healthcare and a generous pension contribution.
WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR - JOB DESCRIPTION
* To manage the warehouse & process function, ensuring focus is maintained on internal and external customers, operating at the lowest cost whilst maintaining 100% order fulfilment & services.
* Lead a small warehouse team and participate fully as an active member of the team.
* Ensure Health and Safety standards are always maintained and to actively promote a culture of Health and Safety awareness and continuous improvement.
* Drive and promote good housekeeping & best practices.
* Maintain warehouse / QA systems integrity, especially with regards to traceability, FIFO and accuracy.
WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR - PERSON SPECIFICATION
* Supervisory/Management experience within a Warehouse Environment
* Excellent communication skills at all levels
* Fork Lift Truck Licence and competent in operating Combi and Shunt
* Good working knowledge of SAP
* Good standard of numeracy and literacy
* Ability to lead, organise and motivate others
