Job Role: Insurance Administrator
Location: New Milton
Job Sector: Insurance
Hours: 35 hours per week
As an Insurance Administrator you will contribute to our vision of being the leading residential property manager, as recognised by others by:
Providing both internal and external customers with an efficient, high quality service at all times
Satisfying the rules and guidelines of our regulator the Financial Conduct Authority
This role reports to the Insurance Operations Manager
About You
You have a minimum 2 years household or commercial property insurance experience from either working for an insurance company or broker.
Being passionate about customer service means you want to deliver excellent standards at all time, with clear communication and empathy. You are also a relationship builder, who enjoys helping others, whether its colleagues or customers.
You're proactive, level-headed and a team player, meaning you have the ability to remain calm in challenging or conflicting situations whilst focusing on achieving positive outcomes.
You have a good working knowledge of MS Office including excel, word and outlook.
This a fantastic opportunity for someone to broaden their working knowledge across all aspects of the broking environment in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.

Main Responsibilities
Dealing with and settling contents claims speedily and accurately in line with binding authority
Issuing buildings certificates of insurance
Printing and dispatching contents insurance renewals and reminders, inputting and dispatching quotations and new contents policies and amending cover
Printing relevant daily reports in respect of contents insurance for the Insurance Operations Manager
Inputting receipt of monies onto client record
Taking calls from customers and colleagues and assisting where possible and escalating when it is not
Manage contents diary and/or general/claims diary
Make written records of all conversations with customers and/or insurers, or other relevant business contacts
Manage and bring to settlement buildings insurance claims
Making amendments to cover for buildings insurance
