11117 - Part-Time Interim Credit Controller / PL
Location: Northampton

Summary
Our client, a successful SME based in Northampton operating nationally, is seeking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller / Purchase Ledger on a part-time ongoing interim basis. to cover an exceptionally busy period whilst a new accounts system is being introduced.


Duties / Responsibilities

Credit control (main focus)
*Raising sales invoices in QuickBooks,
*Issuing of customer statements,
*Chasing customer debt through telephone calls & email,
Resolving customer queries,
*Producing debt reports for management team (monthly),
*Providing Group Finance with monthly AR reports and comments on overdue amounts (monthly).

Purchase Ledger (as required)
*Posting supplier invoices to QuickBooks,
*Checking employees' expenses (cash and credit cards) for accuracy and then posting to QuickBooks,
Supporting all areas of the Finance Department during busy periods.

Reporting to: Finance Manager


Skills / Experience Requirements
*Live locally & be immediately available to start (latest start 7th May 2019),
*Possess previous collections knowledge & experience,
*The ability to prioritise, work to deadlines and manage time efficiently,
*Exhibit strong numerical skills and manage data with a high degree of accuracy,
*Be highly organised and able to follow procedures,
*Be able to deal with problem accounts / customers professionally & effectively,
*Display good attention to detail and the ability to use initiative / follow logic,
*Systems: experience with Sage and/or QuickBooks is preferred.


Salary
*Appointment Type: Ongoing Interim
*Salary: negotiable (circa £10 - £12 subject to experience)
*Hours: Part-time Circa 20hrs pw (ideally working Tue, Wed & Fri, negotiable)
*Accrued paid holiday, NI & Pension
*Free Parking on Site
