You will be part of a great team supporting people who have learning disabilities in a variety of therapeutic tasks associated with growing organic crops. Our days are different and rewarding and you will be part of a successful social enterprise. Ideally, you will have a range of horticultural and or support worker skills or demonstrate your potential to develop these skills.
The post requires teamwork and a flexible approach to the tasks required of you.
Much of the work is physical and outdoors, therefore, you need to be physically fit and like working outdoors in all weathers. You will also need to operate small agricultural type machinery such as walk-behind tractors. We are growing food within polytunnels and directly from the field. You will also help sell our products to the public through pop up stalls and other outlets. We will also consider students looking for summer jobs. A full driving licence would be an advantage. A full-time post-Monday to Friday
