Be responsible for the leadership and organisation of an innovative and influential curriculum within the early years and primary division of the school; improving teaching, raising achievement and pupils’ progress through quality-first teaching and multi-disciplinary working.
We’re looking for an individual who has qualified teacher status (QTS), a national professional qualification for middle leadership (or equivalent), and who has a proven track record of effective performance management of teaching and support staff resulting in improved pupil outcomes. With years of management experience within an autism spectrum condition (ASC) education setting, you will have an excellent understanding and use of assessment for learning approaches - including target setting and tracking - and have knowledge of the requirements of transition inbetween key stages and out of school.
You will have the capacity to lead and influence creative and enriching leadership in the school, be able to demonstrate behaviours that inspire and motivate others and hold a contemporary view that acknowledges people with autism have strengths in learning, communication and interaction. Highly resilient, able to deal with challenges on a daily basis, you will be an innovative and creative thinker, solution focused and able to work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
