Working to assist the day to day running of a growing financial services practice who are an Appointed Representative of St. James's Place Wealth Management Plc. An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Practice Manager to work directly with the business owner; a growing and well respected SJP Partner Practice.

You will be managing the operational needs of the practice, ensuring the efficient running of the office and the quality of service to our clients from our outstanding office facilities based in York.

St. James's Place Wealth Management plc (SJP) is a leading, and highly regarded, FTSE 100 UK Wealth Management company which distributes a range of Investment and Retirement products and financial solutions to a High Net Worth client base. SJP has funds under management in excess of GBP95bn.

The Role - Office Manager

Reporting to the Partner, as Office Manager you will manage all aspects of the Practice on a daily basis. As such this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who likes to take ownership, is well organised and adaptable.

  • Providing outstanding client service will be of upmost importance to you and you will inspire others to do the same.

  • Be able to identify ways in which current processes can be improved and suggest appropriate change within the business.

  • Manage the team to deliver quality standards and operational targets through effective performance management

  • Control and manage workload for the team

  • Have overarching responsibility for ensuring clients receive the best possible service

  • Maintain appropriate level of functional and technical expertise and knowledge of products, procedures, services and systems

  • Ensure the business is compliant at all times

  • Manage the team's quality

    The Person - Office Manager

  • You will have a track record in an operational office based environment. This is likely to be in a Financial Services related business, but this is not essential.

  • You will have experience of managing tasks and processes with tenacity whilst keeping excellent records.

  • You will have a good understanding of how you can add value to this business and you enjoy working as part of a team.

  • You will have excellent communication skills and a passion for client service.

  • You have common sense, influencing skills and enjoy problem solving.

  • You will be honest, hardworking and reliable.
