This legal advisory firm is seeking a Secretarial Manager / Team Leader to join the Business Support Services.

Your New Role

This firm is seeking an experienced Team Leader to join the London office. The team leader is responsible for assisting the Business Support Services Manager to maintain the highest level of customer service, ensuring a productive workflow and encouraging personal and professional growth.

As a department 'coach', you will assists in the development of staff by guiding employees and encouraging them to seek out opportunities to progress and succeed in their job. Like all effective coaches the team leader should motivate, advise, give feedback, be supportive and provide direction. This is a hands-on role and involves working alongside the team to deliver the overall service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Compile the monthly reporting, and actively participate Oversee the day to day running of the Business Support Services Admin, Hub and Reception in line with the agreed service levels

* Support the team operationally when required

* Encourage a customer service environment and ensure that all processes reflect this and all staff are appropriately trained

* Complete the performance review process for your teams (appraisal)

* Complete the recruitment process and induction of team members

* Participate in training new staff and with the continued development of existing staff

* Monitor and ensure staff compliance with established procedures i.e. operational processes, quality control procedures, conduct, attire, performance and attendance

* Ensure equipment is properly maintained and utilised

* Be aware of and responsible for the day to day health and safety requirements for your team and working area and immediately raise any health and safety concerns to your manager

* Actively participate in all on site health and safety audits and assessments

* Any other reasonable request made by your line manager

Key Requirements:

* Customer focused, with experience in staff management in a customer service environment

* Self-motivated, with the ability to lead by example

* Well presented with a professional manner

* Flexible approach

* Computer literate

* Quick learner

* Effective communicator at all levels, both written and oral

* Hands on team worker

* Attention to detail, ability to retain high levels of concentration
