WRS Tech's team have a number of vacancies for multiple businesses covering the UK and overseas.

This particular client I am recruiting for are currently looking for a Service & Support Manager. This Service & Support Manager will be based in Newcastle - You will be working with a growing team and report directly to the Technical Manager. This position will see you support the management of contracts fopr new and existing products, plan labour, logistics, engineers and talk directly to customers.

Responsibilities (Brief Outline)

• Communicate with customers about issues and a resolution
• Communicate with in-house software developers and plan improvements
• Installation support & administration
• Oversee stock levels
• Liaising with existing internal teams to ensure all activities relating to installation are carried out in a timely manner
• Attend customer visits as required
• Provide technical support to both customers and employees
• Ensure profitability targets with respect to quotations and labour utilisation are met
• Develop continuous improvement in all operations, processes and policies
• Establish cost effective sources for goods, services and hired equipment
• Manage the development of the project through to completion, including the control of all associated costs and budgets
• Conduct surveys on board vessels or at work sites, as appropriate, and produce project work scope for build, installation, commissioning and/or service activities
• Provide technical support and training for internal and external customers during and after completion of the project
• Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with company Quality Management Systems and to customer specifications
• Investigate non-conformances / customer complaint to determine root cause and implement preventative actions

Knowledge/Skills Required:

• Marine and Offshore industry experience
• Project management experience
• Similar role, with particular focus on the logistical side of the above
• IT skills
• Excellent organisational skills

Qualifications/Documents/Other Requirements:

• BEng in Marine/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Driving Licence
• Passport
