An exciting opportunity not to be missed! Vitaflo (International) Ltd are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join the team based at the head office in Liverpool! You will join us on a full time, fixed term basis of 12 months, and will receive a highly competitive salary!

Working in partnership with world key opinion leaders and patients, Vitaflo's aim is to create products that combine the best of cutting edge research with the lifestyle demands of modern living, ensuring the most acceptable products are available for the patient.
Your position as the Quality Assurance Technician involves supporting the Quality function in ensuring all products meet the desired quality and safety standards focusing on quality testing and analysis, continual improvement, root cause analysis, non-conformance management, internal audits and customer complaints.
Key responsibilities of our Quality Assurance Technician
- Define and maintain specific quality procedures, instructions and tools within the Quality System
- Carry out analyses in accordance with standard procedures and interpreting results for reproducibility and repeatability
- Reporting consolidated results in a timely manner including trends, abnormalities, and finished product releases
- Support internal continuous excellence programmes
- Deliver training in performing analyses and tests
- Perform and coordinate GMP audits
- Non-conformance management
- Support departmental activities such as production, warehouse and exports
- Ensure the organisation is equipped for internal and external audits
- Investigating customer complaints
Skills and Experience required by our Quality Assurance Technician
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent) within microbiology, chemistry, food or other related fields
- Demonstratable experience within a Quality Assurance role
- HACCP and Food Safety Level 3 qualifications are desired
- Extremely organised with the ability to prioritise workload
- Results orientated
- Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally
- Proficient in IT inclusive of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Databases
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Able to build strong relationships with immediate team and wider business
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Highly motivated with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
