Shift Manager required for a successful manufacturing company based in the Wakefield area. Salary is circa GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 + pension. Hours either 6-2 / 2-10 rotating or permanent night shifts.

Arlington Moore recruitment is recruiting for our client who is a manufacturing company based in the Wakefield area who is looking to appoint a Shift Manager.

As the Shift Manager your role will be to manage production lines, ensuring efficiencies and production KPIs are met. We are looking for someone highly motivated who is looking to progress within a company that is growing.

Key Accountabilities:

Motivate a team of people to meet production targets
Ensure the final product meets specifications
Maximise production efficiency to ensure plan is met on an hourly/daily basis
To adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company health, safety and quality regulations
Ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures
Ensure that all areas comply with hygienic audits, both internal and external
Ensure GMP (good manufacturing practices) and housekeeping are strictly adhered to
Assist in the development of a skills matrix for all production workers
