Lough Erne Landscape Partnership (LELP) aim to protect, promote and enhance the built natural and cultural heritage of the Lough Erne region. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Lough Erne Landscape Partnership (LELP) team, based at Waterways Ireland in Enniskillen.

The Business Support Apprentice will support Lough Erne Landscape Partnership Team in delivering various projects as well as providing support with various workstreams supporting LELP project partners. Reporting to the Community Connections and Volunteer Manager the business support apprentice will assist in the delivery of the LELP Communications Plan for example assist with social media accounts, event planning and project activities. This role will enable candidates to gain a recognised NVQ qualification whilst gaining vital working experience.

Key Result Areas

* To work to the NVQ Diploma Customer Service Apprenticeship standard applying knowledge and skills to achieve a successful outcome.

* Become highly proficient in day to day tasks associated with the role.

* Develop excellent communication skills both face to face and in writing to support the team to deliver a successful programme as part of the Lough Erne Landscape Partnership.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure work is dealt with in good time and to a high standard.

* Meet the standard expected within the RSPB competency framework.

Essential Qualifications

* GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths Grades A-C

Essential Knowledge and Skills

* Basic Microsoft Office knowledge

* Oral and written communications skills to express themselves clearly

* Demonstrates initiative to prioritise own work to meet deadlines

* Customer Service focused

* Attention to detail

* Accurate keyboard skills

* Interested in working in the heritage sector.
