GBR Recruitment are working in partnership with a well established progressive food manufacturing business, recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain Administrator to join the SC team involved in 3 key areas; sales order processing, stock control & logistics support, working closely with internal departments & external suppliers.

Ideally this position would suit an individual with comparable experience in a similar food manufacturing, food stock control or food logistics role.

Supply Chain Administrator Overview:

* Daily completion of sales order processing, stock control & logistics support to the business

* Co-ordinating to ensure stock is moved successfully from the factory to the warehouse

* Liaising with hauliers & 3rd party logistics providers

* Dealing with external factories and external suppliers

* Assessing stock and demand planning to meet sales orders

* Tracking orders / shipments, to ensure correct arrival dates

* Expediting - phone and chasing suppliers

* Checking invoices to ensure they are correct and match the orders

* Updating the database with accurate information

* Training to include wider experience of the whole supply chain process

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

* Food Supply Chain, Stock Control, Manufacturing or Logistics Administration experience

* Experience of liaising with suppliers & internal departments

* Used to working in a small team of 4-5 in a busy food manufacturing / logistics environment

* Effective communicator at all levels, over the telephone, face to face & via email

* Strong attention to detail

* IT proficient in Word and Excel
