We are currently seeking experienced Gas Engineer on behalf of our client in Colchester. Our client are a leading void and social housing contractor looking to expand their team.
Job Title: Gas Engineer
Reports to: Construction Manager
VAN AND PETROL CARD PROVIDED
Your duties will working with the Kitchen and Bathroom teams so experience in domestic properties and a background in social housing will help. The work will be testing, landlord gas safety certificates and basic plumbing works.
Special Requirements:
* Current full UK driving licence (max 6 points)
* Gas safe
* Basic plumbing
Key Responsibilities:
* Adhere to safety and building practices and codes.
* Working with the Site Managers, supervisors, all sub-contractors and trades.
* Co-ordination of sub-contractor and material deliveries.
Skills Knowledge:
* Work as part of a team
* Forward thinking
* Take responsibility
* Communication skills
* Attention to detail
* Enthusiastic
* Reliable
