We're looking for an International Business Development Manager, Middle East / Asia to head up international development and expansion for an exciting and growing gym / sports brand. This is a UK based role (with occasional travel) for our client based on the outskirts of Warrington who are keen to get their products in to the lucrative Asian markets.

In this role you will lead international trade sales to large accounts. Customers will either purchase in bulk to act as an international distributor of this brand or they will purchase "white label" stock to brand and distribute under their own identity. As the Head of Market for Asia, you will be pro-active in sourcing international trade partners and driving commercial arrangements to build international sales long term.

The company are looking for an energetic, charismatic individual with a love of sport and the gym who can represent the business with passion and enthusiasm. Reporting direct to the board, you will be responsible for growing the business in Asia and the Middle East from a sales, marketing and operations standpoint.

Key Responsibilities:

* To drive go-to-market sales and marketing strategy

* Pro-actively seek out distribution channels and partners in the Middle East and Asia

* To leverage existing customer network and route to market know-how to increase regional revenue for the company

* Overseeing end-to-end business operations

* Understand and work within the parameters of international trade and distribution

* Team and P&L management

Key Requirements:

* A passion and affinity to the gym and sports sector

* 3+ years of international sales/business development experience

* Proven track record with penetrating new markets and distributor management

* Strong business acumen, analytical

* Excellent communication skills

* Strong team management/leadership experience

* Work with partners and distributors in the Middle East / Asia a distinct advantage
