CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE ASSISTANT

Milton Keynes

Our client specialises in high-tech furniture fittings for modern living worlds.  They are well known and valued as an innovative family-owned company that operates on an international scale.

Thinking differently about how they can support their customers is at the heart of their business, and this is especially evident in their state-of-the-art Customer Experience Centre where they host over 1,000 visitors a year.  They now have an opportunity for someone to join the team in this dynamic department and think differently about the next stage of their career.

This is a varied role with lots of aspects to it from, helping to support the Experience Centre Manager in delivering their unique customer journey, through to on-site hosting and follow ups with the customers.  Together with providing additional support to the reception and external sales team. Experience in a similar role or managing projects and events would be advantageous.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting, greeting, and hosting visitors when they visit the UK head office in Milton Keynes.
  • Helping to run all aspects of their Experience Centre.
  • Hosting their industry partners.
  • Arranging travel and accommodation for their guests.
  • Supporting Reception, along with maintaining showroom displays to the highest standards, also form part of this role.

The ideal candidate will need to be organised and methodical and have impeccable attention to detail. They will also need a good understanding of Microsoft outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.  Experience of SAP would be advantageous. Devising and maintaining booking systems, including data management and report preparation is required.  As part of a fast-paced business, the ideal candidate must be confident in balancing the demands of a variety of projects. Prioritisation and adapting to changing deadlines are key requirements for this role, as well as a pro-active approach to problem solving.

In time you will become a key contact for their customers and their external sales teams, so confidence in your communication skills, both in person and remotely, is essential.

Salary range: £22k - £28k + pension + medical insurance.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm
