An opportunity has arisen for a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join them to coordinate the delivery of high quality promotion and publicity of the Skills Support for the Workforce project across two LEP areas, including the SSW website, all Social Media channels and PR services that will enhance the image and reputation of the Skills Support for the Workforce programme.
You must establish an understanding of the SSW offer and contracted funding stream in order to develop an appropriate marketing and engagement strategy for the project; working in conjunction with the SSW Operations Manager to assist with the effective delivery of all promotional activities and leading the co-ordination and facilitation of SSW case studies and participant surveys across the partnership.
The role requires attendance at external business and stakeholder network opportunities and events to promote the services of SSW to potential participants, employers and key stakeholders and you must be able to work as part of a team and have the initiative and self-discipline to work independently on significant projects.
With a good general education and evidence of professional development in Marketing and/or Public Relations and recent experience of working in a marketing/advertising/public relations environment, candidates must have specific experience of developing, implementing and evaluating marketing strategies and of planning events and exhibitions. Excellent verbal, written, numerical and presentation skills are essential and you must be capable of devising and using marketing/sales strategies to meet specific contract targets.
