Job Title: Sales Executive / Representative

Location: Basildon

Salary: £18,000 basic - realistic OTE £25,000 to £30,000 p. but totally uncapped

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday)

Having already established an enviable reputation for outstanding customer service, they are now looking to build on their success and expand the team, with the appointment of a Sales Executive / Representative.

The Role:

You will be joining a highly motivated, hardworking, close-knit and friendly sales team working in a fast-paced environment, selling the company's wide range of B2B products, supplies and consumables to a broad spectrum of business customer across a defined geographic territory including north Kent and the Medway towns.

In this proactive sales role you will be winning and closing new business on a daily basis, but it is not just a 'smile and dial' or 'hard sell'. The main purpose of your calls is to develop new accounts, build on-going relationships with existing customer, and maintain your position as regular / preferred supplier by offering a level of customer service that's second to none.

As this is an end-to-end sales role, you'll also be responsible for maintaining the customer database and dealing with problems and queries, so as well as having an outgoing and friendly nature, you'll also need strong organisational skills, good IT knowledge, and the initiative to generate and follow up your own leads.
