Maintenance Person

Maintenance person required for the Tyne & Wear office of North east housing company.

We are currently looking to recruit a responsible maintenance person who is able to complete general maintenance work to a high standard within tight timescales. Previous experience is required. 

You will be required to drive a company vehicle, so a clean drivers license is essential. 

The role is a permanent position, an enhanced CRB check will be required (cost met by employer).

The hours of work are Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, although weekend and evening work is also required, so flexibility is a must.
 

Job Description Maintenance

To undertake the following tasks to ensure that premises are maintained to the highest standard:

Repairs – Complete general repairs on a portfolio of properties within set timescales to a high standard,  

Inspections- To individually inspect properties and report on their condition using the specified forms.

Communication - To communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders and all other staff. 

Paperwork - To complete log sheets and repairs records accurately and any feedback recorded for the office staff daily.

Vehicle – Ensure the Drivers handbook is adhered to and all vehicle checks are completed when using any vehicle.

Any other task in keeping with the nature of the post, as required by the office Manager.
