The HR Services Team
HR Services are the first point of call for all Countrywide people assisting them with HR, general queries and transactions, and are focused on continually providing an excellent experience for our people, so our people can spend their time providing a brilliant experience for all our Customers.
The HR Administration team seek to provide operational support required by delivering transactional HR services to our people. The team will provide a range of seamless administrative activities to our people, covering mainly the employment lifecycle processes, allowing them to spend their time focusing on our customers. From processing changes to terms and conditions, benefits administration, database amendments through to leaver arrangements, the team will be responsible for a range of different processes and must be agile and quick to respond to changes to these in a fast-moving environment.
The Role
As a HR Assistant within the HR Administration team you will be responsible for the delivery of timely and effective administrative support to our employees. Not only will you have a diligent approach to work with an excellent eye for detail, you will also need to be a sound communicator and team player, with a genuine interest in HR. You will be involved in projects within the HR Administration team contributing to the success of the wider HR Services team.
You will be responsible for effective delivery of a range of HR administration processes that support the whole of the employee lifecycle at Countrywide. The role will offer a day that is never the same, and challenge you to think on your feet.
Examples of what you will be doing:
You will have the ability to deliver high quality HR Administration support that provides employees with a positive experience at all times
You will ensure the completion of all HR administration requests within agreed SLAs
Be proactive in understanding HR policy and process, and take the initiative to develop your knowledge further
You will have a keen eye for detail, particularly in relation to inputting data on our HR System CipHR
Challenge existing HR Services processes and suggest improvements that will have a positive impact on the level of service we provide our employees
Seek new and innovative ways to remove the administrative burden from the business so they can focus on providing a brilliant experience to our Customers
Be flexible in your approach in order to support other team members within HR Operations where needed
You will develop strong relationships within the HR Operations division aswell as the wider business
Take ownership of tasks and see them through to resolution, raising issues if timelines become compromised
Support the development and administration skills of our people by sharing knowledge across the team
Assist the HR Administration Team Leader to gather value adding data

Experience you have that will set you up for success:
Proven experience within an administration role (ideally within a large HR department)
Strong communication and influencing skills
Thrive in a fast paced, pressured environment with the ability to achieve tight deadlines and SLAs
Brilliant analysis skills and a great attention to detail
Experience of HR systems or similar
The ability to prioritise workload effectively and against tight deadlines and SLAs
Proven experience of working on multiple tasks with conflicting priorities

This role reports to the HR Administration Team Leader
This role will be based Milton Keynes
You will have working relationships with: Countrywide employees, Managing Directors, PAs, Line Managers, HR Services and wider HR Operations Team.
