Our client a well established Engineering firm based in North Coventry seeks an Recruiter/Administrator
Must have own transport to represent the company at colleges/schools recruitment days as required.
Overall purpose of role
To provide a professional and quality Recruitment and HR administrative service.
Key accountabilities:
• Source applicants by placing job advertisements.
• Contact recruiters, use newsgroups and job sites.
• Determine applicant qualifications/experience, ensuring a match to job
requirements.
• Assist line managers with the interview process.
• Verifying references.
• Take notes at investigation at investigation and disciplinary meetings.
• Maintain employee records both paper based and digital.
• Record sickness absence and update absent analysis spread-sheet.
• Manage starter and leaver documentation and processes.
• Prepare induction paperwork.
• Manage all changes to T&C's documentation and processes.
• Liaise with payroll on HR related matters.
• Ensure company/department organisation charts are kept up to date.
• Arrange company travel.
• Manage apprenticeships from recruitment through to completion of training.
• Attending relevant careers events as required.
Other relevant details:
• Proven recruitment and administration experience, preferably gained in an
engineering environment.
• Full, clean driving license.
Key skills:
• Accurate and organised.
• Approach all matters relating to HR work in a confidential manner.
• Able to prioritise tasks in line with competing demands.
• Computer literate and high familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent telephone manner
