Hackney Council are currently working alongside Spencer Clarke Group to recruit an Information Governance Assistant
The Hourly rate is GBP17.36 to GBP20+ negotiable dependent upon experience so please enquire for more information
The role is Full Time and operates on 6+ Month ongoing contract.
We are looking for someone with at least one year of experience in an Information Governance role, ideally in a local authority.
MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Apply effective information handling procedures, including those procedures required to manage formal information access requests, for example requests made under Data Protection, Freedom of Information and other relevant legislation and regulation.
Work with colleagues and clients / users to investigate and model business functions, processes, information flows and data structures, using various methodical and consistent techniques.
Work under supervision to control and manage the accessibility, retrievability, and security of specific subsets of data and information.
In accordance with agreed procedures, monitor application systems or modules for which responsible by regular scrutiny of reports from the applications software, systems software or service delivery staff. Note problems and identify performance trends.Take corrective action to improve performance and to avoid problems arising, with assistance from more senior colleagues where necessa
