Nights Extrusion Team Leader

Due to growth our client based in Newark are currently recruiting for an Extrusions Team leader to run their newly formed night shift.

The purpose of this role is to efficiently work with and lead a small team in running of their extrusion machines.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

•Direct and instruct a team of operatives
•Maintain Health and Safety standards
•Operate the extruder to the agreed production plan at the required quality standard.
•Reporting quality issues
•Regularly communicate with the production management reporting relevant production figures
•Maintain the hygiene and carry our maintenance tasks where appropriate.
•Involvement with continuous improvement projects

Hours of work: 10pm - 6am Sunday to Thursday (40 hours). Training will initially be on days for 4 - 12 weeks.

•Experience working in a manufacturing environment operating a production line
•Experience with extrusion environment - operating / setting would be advantageous
•Hands on and flexible
•Excellent team player
•High quality standards and target driven
•Thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
