Position Description

Chubb Fire and Security is currently recruiting for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join our UK Ireland Best in Class Finance function. This role is based out of our purpose built offices in Blackburn (BB1 2PR). Reporting to the Statutory Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and submission of statutory accounts, corporation tax and other regulatory returns. You will also develop and implement the compliance process for statutory reporting.

This position is initially offered on an 18 month fixed term contract basis.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and submit statutory accounts
- Liaise with, and prepare information for, internal and external auditors
- Prepare tax packs and answer queries from external tax advisors
- Complete SOX requirements including analysis and testing
- Prepare VAT returns and other revenue returns

Required Experience

You will ideally be qualified / part-qualified ACCA/ACA, with strong financial knowledge and an ability to thrive under pressure. You may work in statutory reporting or internal audit within a large company, or come straight from practice. This is a great opportunity for you to develop your career in Finance.
