Export Account Administrator/Manager
IntaPeople are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing company in the Abergavenny area who due to continued investment and growth require an Export Account Administrator/Manager to join their team.
The Export Account Administrator/Manager will be responsible for growing current business and proactively securing new business (no hard selling - new business via referrals, marketing, inbound enquiries and industry events/shows). There will be travelling (circa once every other month for a few days at a time) to meet customers across Europe, US and the other regions.
The Export Account Administrator/Manager will be from a sales admin/sales/customer service background who is looking to move into a customer facing, account management role. Most importantly, you must possess an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial attitude that can drive business forward backed up with a passion for quality products and great customer service. As a close-knit team, they need someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves and has a can-do attitude.
The role will suit someone who has worked in sales admin orientated role who has the aptitude and desire to work in more of a customer facing role which will involve building and developing relationships with customers - there is no hard selling involved.
Monday - Thursday 08.45 - 17.00 and Friday 08:45 - 12.30 - flexible/part time (eg 09:00 -15:00) working hours may be considered for the right candidate.
On offer is a competitive salary Dependent on experience.
Key responsibilities & Tasks:
Efficient and accurately process orders
Update and maintain the database
Dealing with export shipments from point of order through to delivery
Checking orders for errors
Ensuring all customers are kept up to date with regards to any discrepancies to their orders
Assist with sending correspondents to customers
Investigate and resolve customer complaints
Liaising with forwarders
Sales forecasting
Stock management
The ability to communicate across internal departments
Provide information and run reports for audits
Putting customers first, creating a personalised experience throughout all stages
Able to prioritise your own work and achieve deadlines
Personal Profile:
The role will suit someone who has worked in sales admin orientated role who has the aptitude and desire to work in more of a customer facing role
Great attention to detail
Strong numeracy skills and the ability to calculate in different currencies
Previous experience of working in sales order processing or export is desirable
Team player
Professional yet friendly telephone manner
Positive and proactive individual
Able to work flexibly, prioritise, and manage competing demands.

Ability to robustly troubleshoot encountered issues independently
