About the opportunity:
Fantastic new opportunity with a high growth London-based SME disrupting the drinks space, one can at a time..
Looking for a superstar Innovation & Portfolio Project Manager. This person will work across disciplines, managing a range of new projects from concept to launch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluating market opportunities and building a business case for launching market-leading innovation in-store.
Review performance of products already in market and identify opportunities and risks
Management of multiple projects through the Cawston Press gate process to ensure they launch on time
Lead cross-functional project teams (including Sales, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Manufacturers) and act as the liaison and point of contact between all of them
Regularly report and update on project progress to the Leadership Team
Deal with challenges and proactively build solutions as problems arise
Skills & Experience
- Experience in fast moving food or drink innovation projects
- Experience of working with outsourced supply chains would be an advantage
- A self-starter - able to identify what needs to be done and has the initiative to make it happen
- Strong leadership, collaborative and inter-personal skills, able to work effectively with cross functional teams and yet hold people to account for delivery of their project tracks
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and reporting skills both written, verbal and face to face. Able to distil and simplify complex information
- A problem-solver able to develop and implement practical solutions
- An appetite to positively challenge, to help shape and develop a growing business
- Energetic, highly motivated, with an enquiring mind and passion for excellence and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success.
