The Together Housing Group is currently enjoying a fantastic period of growth, and as such we are looking for a new Senior Project Co-ordinator to join our Asset Management team, specifically within compliance – for example asbestos management, legionella’s etc. Together Housing is a leading Housing Association, which improves the lives of thousands across the North of England, from Blackburn & Salford across as far as Hull & Derby.
Role Overview
This role would be based in Blackburn, Lancashire to ensure contracts and works related to legal compliance are delivered in a timely and cost effective manner to agreed quality standards, ensuring high levels of customer & client satisfaction.
Your normal day to day duties would be;
- To ensure all projects are carried out in accordance with the Groups standards and legislative requirements.
- To undertake day to day management of planned maintenance projects including taking corrective action where necessary and report regularly to the Delivery Manager on the progress of schemes within their area of control.
- To prepare programmes, budgets, risk assessments and cash flow forecasts for individual projects and manage implementation to the highest possible quality and safety standards.
- To maintain communication and consultation to the highest possible standards of customer care with residents and tenants groups throughout the project from initial initiation throughout implementation to final review.
- To ensure that work is carried out within set budgets and that value for money is achieved, by monitoring and reporting on performance.
In order to fulfil this role, you will require the following key skills, knowledge & experience;
- Experience of delivery of large scale investment programmes both on time & within budget
- Experience of working within a financial framework
- Experience of supervising staff and contractors
- Proven examples of the use of initiative, planning & forward thinking
- Ability to manage a varied and broad workload and to meet deadlines whilst under pressure
