Workforce are currently recruiting for an experienced CAD/CAM Engineer / Estimator - offering a starting salary of GBP25,000 - GBP30,000 DOE, a company bonus scheme, a cash health plan and the opportunity to develop and progress in the role - to work for an established sheet metal company in the Dudley area.
Role and Responsibilities
Using 2D and 3D software ideally AutoCAD and Solidworks.
Additional knowledge of Dr. Abe, Black CAM, Radan, Lantek or Sigma is advantageous.
Knowledge of CAD/CAM design and sheet metal fabrication is essential
Break down drawings into individual components to be cut and fabricated from sheet metal.
Create quotations which are accurate and viable for the customer.
Be able to nest profiles to ensure efficiency.
Be comfortable liaising with customers at different levels
Chase up issued quotes and old customers to generate further custom.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Use AutoCAD and Solidworks as needed.
Microsoft Office software.
Manufacturing Workforce are responsible for placing skilled and in demand people on both a permanent and contract basis into the Engineering, Technical and Manufacturing sectors, from skilled Shop Floor Personnel and Specialist Engineers to Supervisory and Management positions.
