Quality Engineer - CAPA - Medical Devices - Cambridge
An established Medical Devices company, based in Cambridge, are currently looking for a skilled Quality Engineer to help with the continued development of their quality management systems (QMS), CAPA procedures and customer complaints procedures.
We are looking for someone to cover a few areas as you will need to be flexible with your daily workload. You will work within an established Quality Assurance team and gain valuable knowledge in areas you may not be so strong in.
It is essential that your background has been in Quality Engineering rather something more paperwork based. Ideally, your exposure will be within the Medical Devices sector to ISO 13485 standards, however if you have been in another highly complex and regulated environment with excellent CAPA and customer complaints experience we would still be keen to hear from you.
If you have ever worked to EN 60601 standards, this would be highly advantageous, if you have not you will be trained in this area.
Their product will be sold worldwide, so apart from CE Marking, if you have knowledge in other countries this would be very useful. Especially North America and Europe.
The technology, that is still being developed, is a highly complex medical device with the chance of changing the whole sector. It is truly an exciting time to join this company.
This company have a passion for developing their people's skills and careers, so continual training and development will be on offer for the right person.
It is expected that you would hold a degree within an engineering, electronics, biomedical of life sciences field. However, actual industry experience is more important.
Apart from working on cutting edge technologies and career development, you will be rewarded with an excellent salary, benefits package, pension scheme and get to work in a people friendly environment.
