McDiarmid Whitmore Ltd are currently working on behalf of a blue chip organisation with a UK workforce of 45,000 who are seeking to appoint a Talent Development Coordinator.
The successful applicant will work as an integral member of the Talent team in the delivery of talent programmes within the organisation. The role will support the full life cycle of the programmes, from on-boarding to graduation. You will work across the business to establish placements, rotations, mentoring and other critical milestones from within the programmes design.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing all aspects of programme delivery for the UK & Global Management Trainees programmes alongside all other talent programmes (i.e. Leadership, Joint Forces / Emerging Talent).
* Working with the business to match talent to business and ensuring objectives for both parties are met.
* To grow and develop the current talent development programmes, working with third party referrals agencies to support a diverse and inclusive culture.
* Develop a strong external network through attending relevant networking and events and careers fairs contributing to employer brand and the talent attraction strategy.
* Maintain a strong commercial focus on the marketplace and the wider economy and use this to inform thinking and decision making.
* Applying excellent consulting skills to understand and influence key stakeholders and the internal network
Applicants will be expected to be CIPD qualified but equally importantly must be excellent communicators and commercially astute.
This is a newly created position within a growing L&D / Talent team and presents excellent career progression opportunities and the chance to dictate the direction of the role in the long term
