Job Summary
Getting stuck in, working on powerful creative solutions and being part of the creative team.
Accountabilities
* Work on a variety of projects - static and moving creative solutions for Facebook and Google, but also GIFs, bumper ads, social media and other motion design where needed.
* Idea generation - Work alone or in a team to generate ideas that meet the brief and engage customers.
* User experience - Understand the customer; employ logical and analytical thinking; demonstrate the importance of consistent customer experience and view each job or channel as part of an overall whole.
* Presentation skills - Use scamps, mood boards, designs and storyboards to present your work to colleagues and/or business partners.
* Brand guardianship - Ensure that all work adheres to Ocado brand guidelines.
* Meet business objectives - Understand what business owners are asking for, and translate that into commercial, powerful, creative solutions. Act in the best interests of Ocado and its customers at all times.
Day-to-day work includes:
* Facebook and Google ad designs (static and motion).
* Build multiple concurrent campaigns, and create variants for testing.
* Create, present, build and deliver projects from ideas to final output.
* Create images (Photoshop / Illustrator).
* Basic image editing, including optimisation, colour correction, isolating, resizing and retouching.
* Output designs.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
* Basic proficiency in working with brand elements and assets, including logos.
* Advanced technical proficiency in Adobe digital design software.
* Advanced Adobe Photoshop skills, capable of a high level of finish.
* Advanced Adobe After Affects animation skills with up-to-date knowledge of plug-ins.
* Basic proficiency in Cinema 4D would be an advantage.
* Advanced design and typographical skills.
* Prior working knowledge of Google Doubleclick Studio is preferred but not essential
* Basic image editing skills, including optimisation, isolating, resizing and retouching.
* Basic outputting skills (flight-checking / uploading / batch processing).
* Basic proficiency in managing brand elements and assets, and keeping them updated.
* Basic understanding of design theory and structure, in particular layout, type, colour and formatting, including typesetting.
* Able to concept and present ideas, including scamps, mood boards and storyboards.
