Part-Qualified Accountant
A leading global recruitment company in Glasgow are seeking a Part-Qualified Accountant to join their team.
What will you be doing?
As a Part-Qualified Accountant you'll be responsible for processing and posting the Employed Contractor Model (ECM) payrolls, whilst ensuring the ECM balance sheets are fit for audit and assisting the GP Financial Accountant with any ECM related analytics. In addition, you will cover all non-automated GP accounting entries, including the Contract GP Accrual for expected Contract GP not yet received, the Permanent GP Accrual (perm GP not yet received), group Contractor and Non-Contractor insurances, all within the agreed monthly timetable.
What skills/experience should you have?
Good commercial awareness
Good knowledge of financial and management reporting preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Good analytical skills with the ability to explain complex financial matters clearly and concisely;
Good MS Excel & PowerPoint experience necessary (VLOOKUPS, SUMIF, Pivot Tables) with an excellent standard of formatting
A good working knowledge of financial systems (with previous experience of SAP, BW & Business Objects preferred).
