SUMMARY

  • DMC is currently looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk, to join our Scarborough team. The Purchase Ledger Clerk is responsible for the delivery and execution of Purchase Ledger Processes within the Finance department.
  • This is an exciting opportunity to grow your financial skillset and purchase ledger experience on a unique and exciting mining project for our Client, Sirius Minerals.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inputting of data entry into the Accounts Systems along with invoice input.
  • Apply the ‘three-way matching’ rule to ERP systems i.e. Purchase Order to Goods Receipt Note to Invoice.
  • Confident in building and maintaining good supplier relationship including confidence in communicating and resolving invoice queries.
  • Have a confident and professional approach in speaking with peers and managers.
  • Review, update and maintain Excel spreadsheets.
  • Provide administrative support to the Finance Team as and when required.
  • Complete projects as assigned and follow up on results.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Experience in Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable processes.
  • Competent user of ERP systems, Microsoft D365 an advantage.
  • Familiar with the ‘Three Way Matching’ principle.
  • Able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Have strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft office packages especially Excel.
