We're currently seeking a Territory Manager (North West Region) to join our talented ViCentra family in the UK.
The position
You will be introducing, differentiating and implementing the use of Kaleido in your territory, developing new sales growth (not just managing inherited accounts) and supporting customers to ensure positive experiences with Kaleido. Responsibilities will include:
Account Management
  • Build sustainable and productive relationships with key customers to deliver positive experiences when using Kaleido.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly reports detailing performance against forecasts, sales performance against targets, competitor information.
  • Develop and maintain accounts plans for each target account and proactively review these with the Country Manager on a quarterly basis.
  • Maintain awareness of potential and ongoing tenders in your territory to ensure that the terms of the tender document include the option for Kaleido to be chosen. Work with wider Tenders Team on document development and ensure timely submission.
  • Attend exhibitions and sales meeting as directed by the Country Manager.
  • Be aware of Patient Advocates and Patient Support groups on your territory; When possible ensure that these advocates are aware of the Kaleido products and are confident to contact you with any issues or opportunities.
Sales Performance
  • Achieve forecasted new customer starts each month, quarter and annually
  • Identify customer starts amongst selected UK centers, and liaise with the relevant HCP's (Diabetes specialist nurses, endocrinologists) Procurement and Financial personnel to ensure pump funding has been agreed and logistical plans are in place for pump start to take place.
  • Identify UK centers based on sales potential, national influence and early adoption of a new product to market
Customer Support
  • Deliver effective and thorough support to customers using Kaleido.
  • Independently carry out initial training for the clinical staff and respective customers
  • Carry out customer reviews to identify any further training needs and assess product performance
  • Liaise with Customer Care regularly to ensure Training and Kaleido kits are ordered and delivered in a timely manner and to ensure we are jointly supporting patients to a high level
Local & International Strategy
  • Provide feedback from customers and clinicians to management identifying any issues
  • Contribute to the production and creation of any marketing / patient /product material
  • Keep up to date with the latest diabetes clinical data
  • Maintain knowledge of new developments within the NHS
Other
  • On-Call/ Standby is a requirement of this role. Whilst we have a dedicated Customer Care team, ensuring 24/7 support to our customers means you may be required on occasion to respond in unsociable hours.
The ideal candidate to join our team
  • Degree level qualification/ equivalent healthcare experience in commercial setting
  • Medical Device or Diabetes sector experience
  • Experienced in liaising with KOLs, clinicians and other diabetes trained staff.
  • Full Driving License and willingness to travel
  • Enthusiastic to introduce a new medical device into the UK market.
  • Empathetic to life with type 1 diabetes.
  • Excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator with good listening skills.
  • Ability to present and interact with groups of patients and their families (paediatric patients)
  • Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook; a clear focus on high quality
  • A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance.
  • Mature, credible and comfortable in dealing with KOLs, clinicians and other diabetes trained staff.
  • Reliable, tolerant, and determined
  • Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person's point of view.
  • Well-presented
  • Motivated by the considerable amount of contact with customers and their families (in the case of children). As such, a DBS check will be required.
  • Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability.
It's a bonus if you also have:
  • An established network among KOL's, physicians and nurses, patient groups, purchasing groups and other influencers in the relevant regions.
  • Experience of working within Diabetes market and / or insulin pumps.
  • Experience of working with children.
  • A good understanding of the UK healthcare system, regulatory framework, reimbursement and procurement processes.
  • Experience with CRMs/Salesforce
