QA/Quality Assurance Technician
We are seeking 2 experience QAs/Quality Assurance Technicians for our client who has a very well established meat packing facility both here in the UK and the Netherlands.
The Quality Assurance Technicians will be responsible for the quality, and food safety of the products and will be expected to follow set processes and ensure adherence to good manufacturing practices (GMP), food safety, Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards and product quality standards.
Job Responsibilities:
* monitoring, and programing critical control points (CCP).
* monitoring and product food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process.
* performing sanitation verification and allergen testing on equipment and other areas required.
* correct recording and filing of all relevant record logs and Documentation.
* correct recipe guidelines for products are met during processing.
* ensuring employees are following all Food Safety and worker safety practices.
* ensuring and educates employees on food safety and SQF standards.
* collecting product samples for Product Development, lab retains and the laboratory when directed.
* Perform inspections on Products, Equipment and Machinery.
Successful candidates will:
* be self-motivated
* have proficient in Microsoft Office.
* have prior experience in a food environment.
* be Fluent in English.
* have a positive attitude.
* have good written and oral communication skills.
* have ability to work in fast-paced, effectively under pressure, and deadline-oriented environment.
* have flexible availability; there are night and weekend shifts.
