The Role
We are looking for an experienced advocate to provide specialist level representation at first tier tribunal to eligible individuals who are appealing decisions under the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme and/or the War Pensions Scheme. Full subject matter training will be provided.
The ideal candidate will have recent, significant experience of interpreting and applying legislation and presenting cases at first tier tribunal. The role includes providing comprehensive advice to appellants and the management of a significant caseload.
We are looking for someone with excellent communications skills and a strong focus on quality customer service. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a methodical approach to work and sound organisational skills.
You will be based in our Manchester office and will be required to travel regularly for tribunal hearings and attending meetings.
The nature of the post will require you to have a full driving licence. A company car may be provided, depending on circumstances.
