We are seeking an experienced Business Development Co-Ordinator for our prestigious Lincolnshire based Children’s charity. This role will specifically manage, develop and promote the charities activities and shape the future service. You will possess the drive, initiative and enthusiasm to achieve the outcomes and targets set out within the plan. You will have exceptional communication skills, be a team player, and have experience of managing people. As the Business Development Coordinator , reporting to the Deputy CEO, you will be experienced in working within a management team to deliver change, set performance targets whilst guided by general procedures and policies. .You will be required to work collaboratively with colleagues to influence and develop opportunities with strategic partners, developing partnerships and networking which enhances activity and opportunity for children, young people, families and their communities
Key Business Development coordinator responsibilities:
To work as part of the charity to prepare and deliver service and develop activities for children, young people, families and their communities
- To provide effective team management and delivery of good quality services
- Accurate timely administration
- To lead on the proactive marketing of the charity’s activities and services to enhance the profile of the organisation
- Identify innovative and appropriate ways to expand services
- To regularly review sources for opportunities to tender for new projects or contracts, establishing new contacts to extend our client base
- To identify opportunities for partnerships and sponsorship
- Responsible for quality assurance for contracts and commercial services undertaken
- To lead on staff training, development and performance management to deliver efficiency, maximise capacity and secure high quality delivery
- To contribute to project development and fundraising bids as required
- To liaise with senior managers to gather and analyse data on financial and other performance data
Personal specification – Business Development Coordinator :
- Ability to demonstrate marketing, sales and contract management
- Experience of business development, relationship building and project management
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience working with children, families and communities
- Good knowledge of Microsoft programmes
- Ability to prioritise own workload, meet objectives and manage financial commitments within budgets
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
- Good team player with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Aptitude or experience working with volunteers, making use of their skills and experience would be desirable
- Valid UK Driving Licence
