A fantastic opportunity has arisen at a primary school in Victoria l in the London borough of Westminster for a teaching assistant to join them in a Key Stage 2 class. The school are either looking for a graduate or someone who has previous experience in a similar setting. Ideally the teaching assistant will have previously worked with children. This is a long-term contract beginning as soon as possible. The successful teaching assistant will be required to commit until July 2019.

This is a great primary school based nearby to Victoria, Sloane Square and Pimlico station. They offer ongoing support and training and have a fantastic senior leadership team. The teaching assistant will be working full-time Monday to Friday and will not be expected to work during school holidays. This is a relatively large school being 2 form entry. Education to a degree level would be ideal for this position (2:2 or above).

Your responsibilities will include supporting the children in Key Stage 2 with Maths, English as well as the other subjects. There will be a particular focus on supporting children in their SATS preparation.

The Primary school are looking for someone who is personable, works well with children, is reliable and dedicated. A strong education background is desirable for this role with a minimum of a C required at GCSE in Math and English.
