Our client are an established UK CRM and BI Partner based in Hampshire. with over 20 years experienced of delivering best-of-breed CRM and BI solutions - along with some of their own developed products.
Technical Sales Consultant:
A role for you if you are interested in software business applications and enjoy a mix of technical and commercial activities. You would be working across a mix of direct customer and channel partner engagements. This role is an exciting and interesting mix of pre-sales, sales, with the ability to assist and help develop marketing activities and campaigns.
The mix of activities during a week might include, creating a short video to post on our channel to highlight a feature, contributing to blog articles on a related topic, being involved in product road map discussions, preparing/providing demonstrations generally via web sessions. Visiting prospective customers and partners as part of the sales process, presenting at a relevant event.
Being active on social media, forums, Linkedin etc is expected to assist in marketing and building an effective network of contacts.
The Technical Sales Consultant will join a highly regarded software company established since 1997, with an established customer base. The company offers a complete suite of consultancy services and is a partner for Microsoft Dynamics 365, Infor (Saleslogix), Qlik, and Microsoft Power BI as well as its own product families which are the focus for this role.
Responsibilities:
* Build and develop a pipeline of potential new customers
* Work towards and achieve set sales targets
* Develop and implement sales strategies to maximise client acquisition
* Develop and implement strategies to increase the number of active channel partners
* Work closely with internal teams using resources to support and help with potential new customers
* Provide input to product team of customer requirements and feedback
Skills & Experience Required:
* Some experience of working with and/or selling business applications and/or some experience of consulting/working within the software technology space
* Ideally educated to degree level or similar level of education
* Highly presentable and professional individual
* Able to evaluate business requirements versus technology and identify a solution
* Conversant with the use of relevant business focused social media mediums
* Excellent written, verbal and presentational skills with excellent business English
* Ability to use and act on own initiative
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
