An exciting opportunity not to be missed! Vitaflo (International) Ltd are currently looking for a Procurement Planner to join the team based at their head office in Liverpool! You will join us on a full time, permanent basis, and will receive a highly competitive salary!

Vitaflo (International) Ltd are currently looking to recruit a full time, permanent Procurement Planner to work at its head office just outside of Liverpool City Centre. This exciting opportunity is key within the operations department, which will involve responsibility for scheduling and forecasting finished goods and raw materials from co-manufacturers and suppliers.

Key responsibilities of our Procurement Planner

- Provide day to day coordination between co-manufacturers, suppliers and Vitaflo

- Establish global production plans for co-manufacturers

- Actively support the strategic volume planning process

- Review daily stock requirements, ensuring purchase orders for finished goods and raw materials are scheduled on time and in the correct location

- Monitor forecast against sales to ensure optimal stock levels to meet customer requirements

- Highlight any potential stock and shelf life issues

- Hold weekly meetings to discuss co-manufacturer requirements and any potential challenges

- Contribute to weekly project meetings and follow up on any actions raised

- Understand and manage stock holding levels to agreed KPI's

- Minimise disposal costs in line with agreed KPI's

- Collaborate with cross-functional planning activities

- Resolve any challenges regarding production to ensure all agreed metrics are hit

Skills and Experience required by our Procurement Planner

- Relevant experience within a procurement, planning or supply chain role

- Excellent computing skills, inclusive of Microsoft Office and Sage 200 is essential

- Knowledge and experience of using MRP systems

- Negotiating and influencing skills

- Excellent attention to detail

- Ability to manage competing tasks and deadlines

- Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication skills that reflect the ability to work with stakeholders at various levels
