Partnership & Sales Executive
An opportunity has arisen for a Partnership & Sales Executive to work within the Partnership and Commercial team at Visit County Durham.
Visit County Durham works with tourism businesses and partners, both locally and nationally, to grow the county’s visitor economy. We also coordinate the promotion of the county nationally as a great place to live, work, visit, study and invest. We perform the roles of destination management, destination marketing and place marketing.
The Partnership & Sales Executive will be responsible for developing and delivering an effective partnership service to existing and new partners; maximising the sales and commercial opportunities to partners and supporting the team to achieve annual income targets by:-
• Planning, coordinating and delivering activity to recruit and retain partners
• Support the sales targets of the team by maximising opportunities to sell
marketing and other commercial opportunities to partners
• Build and maintain long lasting relationships with partners by account
managing and nurturing key partners and providing support to other
• Use IT systems to manage partnership databases and monitor activity
Candidates should hold a Post A-level qualification in one of the following: sales, business development, tourism, destination management. Applicants should have proven sales, negotiation and influencing skills, possess excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and have strong IT skills, including CRM, social media and digital platforms.

Salary : Grade 8 £25,295 to £28,785
