In order to assist in the delivery of the Councils capital investment programme an opportunity exists within West Lothian Council Construction Services for a suitably qualified and experienced construction professional to deliver a wide range of construction projects.

Projects will be spread across the asset portfolio with a particular focus on Education including delivery of Early Learning and Childcare expansion programme but will also include other Operational Services, Housing and Open Space capital asset projects.

As an effective communicator you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team in Construction Services but will liaise with colleagues across the Council to achieve project outcomes. You will be responsible for overall project management of programmes, including developing client briefing requirements, appointing and liaising with external design teams/lead consultants and coordinating programme/cost information. This is a permanent post
