Term Time Teacher of Mathematics with GCSE Pastoral Responsibilities,

Salary: £22-26K pa

Permanent position – Full Time

MPW Cambridge is a leading independent college in the country. Offering GCSE and A level courses and rated 'outstanding' by Ofsted in all areas, we accept up to 240 students each year.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to join our college's thriving GCSE department from September 2019. This post will also include pastoral responsibility for GCSE students and facilitation of study sessions. It will appeal to teachers who wish to develop into a role with a more holistic approach to students.

Teaching GCSE and A level Mathematics to UK and international students across one-and two-year programmes, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate an understanding of excellent teaching practice as well as a thorough grasp of the assessment requirements at GCSE and A level. Also, an ability to motivate and manage the well-being of GCSE students is required. 

We are looking for someone who is dedicated to ensuring every pupil succeeds and gets the support they need. Applications from NQTs are welcomed.
