Our client has an opportunity for a Real Estate Underwriter to join their Real Estate team in London.
This is a key position in a fast paced team. You will be responsible for dealing with all instructions relating to the provision of insurance cover. With excellent attention to detail, you will ensure instructions are processed, recorded and confirmed in a timely manner ensuring you comply with relevant regulatory requirements and procedures.
The successful candidate will either be a graduate / trainee ready to start a career in the Insurance industry, or an experienced underwriter. This position requires highly effective communication and organisational skills and you will ideally have a technical understanding of Real Estate products. The role provides advice and a full cycle service to colleagues and therefore requires a level of competence to be evidenced, this is achieved by attaining CERT CII and obtaining an underwriting licence, overseen and administered by Aviva.
