One of my local authority clients is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to provide Business Analysis support services for the company's emerging Customer Experience Platform. The role will predominantly be handling activities as follows:

* CRM Financial Payments Processes - proving the process, running workshops across all payments process backlog

* CRM Complex Processes - initial PoC discovery then running workshops with other business areas identified. These are processes have multiple branches/touchpoints for the customer (complex, often multi-agencies involved)

* CRM Theme Discovery - various PoC discovery needed as we test new features, then wider rollout through workshops/process redesign

* General Analysis - running workshops in focussed business areas to define MVP, then sharing back to EA (to plan roadmap)

Key accountabilities:

* Investigate a situation - Use suitable qualitative techniques to understand the situation and identify issues and opportunities

* Consider perspectives - Identify stakeholders, understand their needs from the different stakeholder perspectives and arrive at a consensus business activity model

* Analyse Needs - Analyse internal 'as is' processes to identify problems and challenge assumptions. Compare the 'as is' to the 'to be' and consider the impacts on the organisation, people, processes and technology.

* Evaluate options - Assist with developing and evaluating the options and how the recommended options meets the business Data need.

* Define requirements - Elicit, analyse, document and manage business requirements. In an agile environment this may take the form of epics and user stories within a product backlog to articulate the MVP (Minimum Viable Product.)

* Community of Practice - Contribute to building an active Community of Practice to embed agile and lean ways of working, behaviours and culture across the Council. Sharing and re-applying skills and knowledge and bringing in best practice.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an agile environment, familiar with Kanban methodology and working within a multi-disciplinary team
