We're looking for a talented Project Manager to lead on a pilot project working for an innovative charity tackling homelessness in Manchester. This is a 6-month fixed term contract with a grown up, flexible working culture.
You'll be working on a brand new strategy to bring together community hubs and retail shops and encourage collaboration and joined-up working. The vision is for hubs and shops to be at the heart of their communities; bases for activism as well as for help and support. The hubs will concentrate on developing relationships, building trust and helping to focus local energy, working with groups, organisations and individuals that want to bring about change at a local level, as well as contribute to national change.
The charity feels they can create greater synergy by jointly locating a hub and a shop and this project in South Manchester will be a pilot that launches this new way of working. As Project Manager, you'll have a clear delivery focus combined with a structured approach to problem solving, working hand-in-hand with a customer-facing outlook.
We're looking for someone with exceptional and demonstrable project management skills from either community, charity or retail background. Responding quickly and positively to change, you'll continuously improve performance by learning quickly from mistakes, celebrating successes and constantly developing people and processes.
Flexible on location base (including home).
