Building homes and a new service function….

Here at Linc, our Development Team are at the forefront of creating new homes and dreaming up creative designs that meet high standards, and our excellent reputation for our developments is something we’re really proud of.

Due to the extensive growth of our development programme, we have created a unique new vacancy for a Project Manager to take on the task of setting up and driving forward our private housing sales capability.

Joining a team of 10 multi-disciplined colleagues in our Development Team, you will identify development opportunities, negotiate terms of contract and progress projects through planning and tender stages. The role will give you the freedom to initiate schemes into the programme and develop contracts, and you’ll ensure that multiple tenure types are incorporated within our developments.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to build on your existing property sales and project management experience to help build this function from the ground up, and you’ll be a driving force behind it. You’ll need to be an initiator and prepared to start from scratch, highly organised, with exceptional attention to detail. You will have a clear understanding of valuations and contract management and able to demonstrate a strong understanding of construction economics and legislative requirements.

Whilst there is no direct line management responsibility you will manage external sales consultants, so you’ll need fantastic communication and problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles and champion a teamworking approach, with the ultimate aim of delivering some impressive homes to those who need them.

A driving licence and access to a car is required as this role will combine working at Head Office with travel across South Wales, along the M4 corridor.

As a not for profit organisation, we know that our homes are not only at the heart of the community but also make a real difference to the lives and wellbeing of others. If you feel that you can help us be the positive difference and have the skills to build and deliver this exceptional service, then we’d love to hear from you!

The closing date for all applications is at 23:59 on 29th April 2019.
