Our client is a medium sized, high spec developer with a reputation for delivering interesting and diverse developments. They specialise in medium to large-scale developments of apartments, townhouses and executive homes.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Architectural Technician to join their Technical team supporting Technical Coordinators and the Technical Director in the production and amendment of working drawings and details to a very high standard. You will also liaise with external design consultants, checking the quality and compatibility of their designs.
The successful Architectural Technician will have previous design experience gained either within a Developer or an Architectural practice.
You'll be educated to HNC / degree level in Architectural Technology or Building studies (or equivalent) and will have a good working knowledge of construction combined with an understanding of Building Regulations and NHBC requirements. You'll be proficient in AutoCAD, preferably with knowledge of architectural desktop and utilising/making dynamic blocks within a palette system would be an advantage.
