My client is currently the largest Gas company in East Anglia with over 130 employees and over 100 Engineers. They have been established for over 35 years and have a reputable client base with the ability to deliver large Public Sector Housing projects.
They are currently seeking Commercial Gas Engineers to cover an area from Letchworth to North London. This is a permanent opportunity with an ASAP start.
Your role would include Maintenance and Servicing of Commercial / Industrial Gas appliances, pipe work, flues and controls. You will also undertake consultation and quotation of new / replacement Gas, Heating and Hot Water appliances. In addition you will be required to offer consultation, recommendation and implementation for trouble shooting of small and large scale problematic heating / hot water and gas installations and to carry out Annual testing and certification of low / media / high pressure Gas installations, including ring mains.
In order to be considered for the position you will ideally have the following;
- Qualified to Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ in relevant industry
- Qualifications such as COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1, BMP1, CORT1, Met 4, CPA1, CCN1, CKR1, CEN1, Met 1, UDHWSS Unvented Ticket.
- A flexible nature as this role is mobile covering all of the Norfolk region and will require additional overtime hours / call out rota.
- Basic IT skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Solid working history
This is a full time permanent position with an ASAP start.
